I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing adult therapy services for individuals who appear successful on the outside but feel stuck, exhausted, disconnected, or unfulfilled internally. Many of my clients are leaders, executives, professional athletes, former athletes, and faith-oriented individuals who struggle with long-standing patterns that no longer serve them.
Clients often seek me out for concerns such as perfectionism, chronic overachievement, emotional guardedness, avoidance, difficulty resting, burnout, shame, or a persistent sense of emptiness or loss of meaning. While these experiences may look like anxiety or depression, they are often rooted in deeper adaptive patterns formed earlier in life.
My approach to compassionate therapy focuses on understanding the original wound or life context that shaped these patterns. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we explore how behaviors like relentless drive, emotional self-reliance, control, or withdrawal once served a protective function. Therapy helps clients recognize why these patterns made sense, grieve what they have cost over time, and begin to loosen them now that the original threat is no longer present.
I frequently work with:
Executives and leaders experiencing burnout, identity exhaustion, or role-based self-worth
Professional and former athletes navigating performance pressure, identity transition, or emotional suppression
Christians and faith-oriented clients struggling with shame, legalism, spiritual burnout, or performance-based worth
High achievers experiencing existential depression, loss of meaning, or disconnection despite success
Therapy is collaborative, reflective, and depth-oriented. The goal is not to “fix” the client, but to help them understand themselves more fully so change can occur with choice, integration, and compassion rather than force.
I provide telehealth therapy to adults located in Florida, California, and PSYPACT-authorized states.
